Lonelily - Damien Rice No capo, normal tuning. The chords that are used are as follows: Fmaj7 C Gsus4 E|--0------0------0--| B|--1------1------1--| G|--2------0------0--| D|--3------2------0--| A|--3------3------2--| E|--x------x------3--| The notes written between brackets are played very quietly, probably quite often by accident. Intro/Verse: |-----------------------------------------|-------------------------------------------| |-----1-(1)------1-(0)------0-(0)--(0h1)--|-------1-(1)------1-(1)------0h1p0---------| |---2-------------------------------------|---0h2-------------------------------------| |3------------2-----------------0h2-------|2h3------------2----------------------(0)--| |----------3-------------2----------------|------------3------------------------------| |---------(0)---------3-------------------|------------------------3------------------| |-----------------------------------------|-------------------------------------------| |-----1-(1)------1-(1)------0--0-0h1p0----|-------1----------1------------------------| |---2-------------------------------------|---0h2-------------------------------------| |3------------2------------(0)---0h2----2-|2h3-------------2--------------------------| |----------3-------------2----------------|------------3------------------------------| |---------------------3-------------------|------------------------3------------------| Repeat similar throughout verse. Chorus: Fmaj7, C, Gsus4 Emphasise the lower then higher strings when strumming in a simlilar way to the finger picking of the verse. Also, use a bit of hammering on the B string on the last beat of the Gsus4 chord. I hope you like it, I think it's pretty accurate. Tomarse Edited by: Tomarse |

Well... I worked out the chords but my fingerpicking of them was a bit to random to sound right so I listened to the track very carefully and wrote it down. I kept reading through it whilst playing back the track and adding or tweaking it slightly. |

ooo, i'd think that'd be impossibly hard, since he's never played it live or anything.

It wasn't too bad cos the intro is nice and clean with no other sounds to distract from the guitar. I'll do some more tabs at some point, i.e. when I can be bothered! I've already done Groovin' and Amie, what shall I do next? |

Do you reckon I/you/we/whoever should do the tabs for some of the cover songs that DR has done? I know Talkin' About A Revolution and Creep. There's also Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For and probably some others too.

ya, that'd be cool but tab DR orginials first a moody mooday tab would be nice too...u can't really hear the riff tho, haha. but i think everyone wants a childish tab that actually sounds good.
i can tab songs...and they turn out decent, i've done one of the 'cannonball' tabs, the 'then go' tab (the 2nd guitar part), a 'woman like a man' tab, and i might submitt a new, more detailedtab for volcano, that i tabbed off the vh1 session...if anyone wants me to submitt this tab, tell me so and i will.

Yeah do it (Volcano) !Hmm Moody Mooday, only listened to it a couple of times cos I've got on the Cannonball single (one of the three versions I have!) and not on my computer. I'll have to listen to it more. |
