Andrew Bate
Afternoon all, just thought I'd drop by to ask you to have a listen to a friend of mine who's just been signed to Tobias Froberg's label. His name is Andrew Bate, and he and I recently covered Volcano together.
Tis not an amazing cover or anything, but it shows off his voice wonderfully. Please go have a listen, first song to play on his profile here: www.myspace.com/andrewbate he's doing Damien's parts, I'm doing Lisa's (Please excuse my very dodgy vocals in parts) - and I'm playing guitar. Also, forgive us as it was the first time we'd met, and we only had 5 minutes to practice it! Thanks chums xx

The performance sounds great! Although Andrew does sound rather feminine, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because he has a good voice, but i just thought i'd point that out!
When was that played then?

yeah he does have a really feminine voice!
It was a few weeks back - St Paddy's day actually! At 'The Shamrock Shindig' - just 3 or 4 local acts playing, twas a good night Thanks for listening! In my opinion, the stuff on his myspace doesn't do him justice - but he's recording an album properly now with his label, and what I've heard of it sounds really amazing, I can't wait to hear it all in full! Thanks for listening guys

Are you kidding me? This is a guy? Pre or post op I do quite like his music, but I have never heard a guy sounding so much like a girl in the whole of my life. Ghosts sounds fab btw, I absolutely adore the piano! And your voice sounds great in Volcano, what are you on about =)

cheers for the feedback guys - you're right, the first time I heard him I couldn't believe he was a man. I was even more shocked when I discovered he was straight!
