Default The Rat Within The Grain on the Radio

Tom Dunne just played "The Rat Within The Grain", the b-side to "9 Crimes", on Irish radio station Today FM.

Can you listen again?
Was it any good?
Will I ever stop asking questions?
Who knows?

So if the site is any indication we can hear today's show there either tomorrow or in a few days? Can't wait to hear the finished version!

There have been several notable occasions in music history where a DJ started playing the B-side and it became the bigger hit than the intended single. I believe this could and should be one of those times. "Rat" is a much better representation to me of what makes Damo so unique. I don't actually dislike "9 Crimes" but I also just don't feel it's an ideal candidate for a hit.

Leave it be woman. I said I dislike Jo Whiley, mentioning I like Zane Lowe. That hardly warrants a diploma from the school of bearing malice.

Sounds very 60's folk actually... Simon & Garfunkle... or the Beatles... Yesterday... something like that.

i dont like that ireland can be satisfied with getting one point from 3 games.
and bringing "positives" from a game against germany to which they lost.

im not one to call for anyones head but i do think appointing steve staunton was a bad decision. but if he were to go... who would they bring in???

Hasn't Koller retired yet? Although he is my favorite to play with in Fifa for Xbox/PS2 etc.........

Which brings another question... I was told by an Englishman that Fifa is considered inferior to Winning Eleven ... which I understand is a lot more complicated/better to some... so I have not played Winning Eleven...from someone in Europe who has played both...can you comment on them?

Don't comment on this here, I'm moving this question to the appropriate place. Decided not to be lazy.

ah yes, well, damien isn't known for having all kinds of different guitar parts... i know there are atleast 3 songs that have the same chord pattern with the capo just in a different spot lol

ps. i don't have a problem with that by the way... he is one of the only people who does that and doesn't annoy me with it
