Have you guys...f*ckin heard this?!
Oh my Ghandi...
I was browsing through YouTube for a live version of "The Professor and la fille danse" and happened to stumble upon this rare gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Izv4...eature=related It's called "Orchard" and is from Damien's Juniper days. Absolutely amazing song! |

Yes, nice little song. Written by Dave Geraghty as far as I recall.

Yep, that's a great song! I think it's from the World Is Dead single (circa... 97? 98?) I'm at work now but have the whole thing at home if anyone's in need of an mp3

Never heard that before, thank you, Valentino! Absolutely gorgeous. An MP3 would be great! ^-^

There is an MP3 floating around here already, I just can't find the link. I got it off of here more than a year ago, as soon as I find anything I'll edit.
ETA: Here is where I got it from, but the link is now dead http://www.eskimofriends.com/forum/s...#postid=199165 Last edited by northberwick; 11-20-2008 at 09:37 PM. Reason: Added link |

Nope, apparently it was Dave. In fact, it was him that sang it when it was played live too.

Okay, I'm hoping this is within the rules. My mind's a little fuzzy on the Juniper-mp3-rules here... technically, it was released but... it's pretty impossible to track down a proper copy of it now!
Anyhow, I will gladly take the link down if needed... but in the meantime, the whole World is Dead single: http://tinyurl.com/6hxn5o 01. World is Dead 02. You 03. Orchard 04. Weatherman (remix) |

I absolutely love all the reverse sound effects. Sounds like someone's taking a bow to the piano and just softly gliding it across the strings...wow that's sexy!
I seriously hope Damo has stuff like this on the new album. |
