Site downtime

hey,

i'm really sorry that the site was down from saturday night until today.

the site was suspended by our hosts due to a lot of people downloading mp3s. to get them to put the site back up i've had to agree to stop hosting mp3s.

everything else should still be in working order.

my e-mail was also not working, so if you sent me something before, then please send it again.

Maybe someone linked to the page from another site increasing the amount of hits... would it do any good if only forum members could access the mp3's or is it a pretty final decision?

bumpman, they won't let me host mp3 files, but i'll see if i can find somewhere else to host them and just link to them from here. they're down for now though.

Good to see things are back up and running again. It's a pity you can't host the mp3's anymore. Maybe you can put them all in zip files, and you host wouldn't know better?

I've looked for a better host, the current one that we're using I'm paying £178 for. They are really good value and there is no restrictions on visitor bandwidth or indeed webspace. Just that the site is so well done by Emmett, and so many people come here before the official website, the usage of mp3's at that rate will start slowing the servers down! But apart from that, the uptime is pretty remarkable, don't you agree?
