How inappropriate would it be....
to use Unplayed Piano as my wedding song? I know what the song is about and who it was written for, but it's just so musically beautiful. Do you think all the guests are gonna be like WTF??!?!

itwouldn't really be an ideal choice for a wedding song
and i sincerely doubt that anyone at the wedding would notice what the song was about |

I've done work with the (Burmese) National League for Democracy and I think that it would be best if you chose another song.
An instrumental version would be fine, but the lyrics were written for a politkal struggle in Burma where thousands of people have been slaughtered. You have the right to do whatever song you want, but I ask that, out of respect for Daw Suu Kyi and the repressed people of Burma, you choose another song.
