Default How inappropriate would it be....

to use Unplayed Piano as my wedding song? I know what the song is about and who it was written for, but it's just so musically beautiful. Do you think all the guests are gonna be like WTF??!?!

I still go with Grow Old Along With Me - John Lennon

But since I don't believe in weddings, I guess I won't be using it, so it's up for grabs.

itwouldn't really be an ideal choice for a wedding song
and i sincerely doubt that anyone at the wedding would notice what the song was about

I've done work with the (Burmese) National League for Democracy and I think that it would be best if you chose another song.
An instrumental version would be fine, but the lyrics were written for a politkal struggle in Burma where thousands of people have been slaughtered.

You have the right to do whatever song you want, but I ask that, out of respect for Daw Suu Kyi and the repressed people of Burma, you choose another song.
