How have you guys met Damien?
I'm just curious as to how you guys and girls that have met him, have gone about it?
Is it the result of vip passes or like, kicking around after the gig and crossing your fingers? |

Fake a heart attack and if he tries CPR, cling on for dear life.

They're usually pretty approachable after gigs. Although if they're at the point where they're playing arenas in the UK then that might be coming to an end, they'd be there forever.
Or you could move here and hope you run into him on the street.

I met him when he was here in Colorado. It was the first time I got to see him live, he was opening for Fiona Apple.
How we did it was we waited around by his tour bus after the show and waited for about 1 hour. We were getting pretty tired and were about to give up and just then he came out of the back of the venue and about 10 people were waiting to talk to him. He was very shy and quiet, but was very nice. I got my ticket via email so it was printed out on a piece of paper, I told him I got lazy and just wanted the ticket to come to my house as opposed to picking it up somewhere and I felt kind of weird that I had him sign a piece of paper as opposed to a real ticket. I usually say stupid stuff when I'm meeting famous people so I asked him if he would have printed a ticket at home or gone and picked it up, he said "I would have just gotten on the guest list." I think he was just kind of poking fun at me for asking a really obscure question. But like I said I get all stupid when I'm meeting famous people. --Smeg |

That makes me really jealous, I was at that show as well. I was waiting in line since 3/4 or so in the afternoon hoping he'd step outside during sound checks, though no luck.

i think an "eskimo five" would have been more appropriate for a fan of the Todd.
