Default how did the Goldfish Memory project happened?

I was wondering how Damien & co got involved in doing the 3 songs for the Goldfish Memory soundtrack???

anyone??

Besides, I think it's very adventurous to go and record in a different language, especially Protuguese, which is very tricky with pronunciation... Even if I could sing, I think i'd refuse if I was asked to sing in Polish or Finnish I think they pull it out pretty well, although their pronunication sounds more like Spanish than Portuguese IMO...

I think it was a magical windswept yarn of a story. Someone asked them if they'd like to be involved in the soundtrack, they said yes, somewhere along the way it was decided that the film would benefit from some exclusive recordings, they said yes again.

I'm not sure of who thought of Antonio Carlos Jobim, but Lisa was always the resident cover expert.

I always thought it was one of those little indie US movies... that's why I couldn't figure out the connection with Damien...

Is the movie any good??

No, it's bollocks. Clings desperately to the premise and won't let go.

Yeah, it's supposed to be fairly awful alright. Not the good/cheesy kind of awful too, just awful. Really though, would anyone expect much from a screenplay that basically centred around the idea; I live in Dublin, and I'm having lots of sex, woohoo!

When I saw it I thought it was pretty funny. But that was about a year ago, and I don't remember much of it now. So maybe it wasn't that good....
It has a good rating on IMDB though.
