mind blowing. best show I've seen yet. They were just ON. I'm by no means a ballwasher to any artist, but Damien literally blew up the stage tonight. And Lisa seemed tighter than ever on vocals. A+ show, and incase you were wondering, there were tapers there.. it explained all the stupid hats and kids who wouldn't clap or move one degree off center.

I agree. I thought the Philly show was amazing, but NYC was at least twice as good. I'm still amazed.

I have the setlist up on my site:

http://pub58.ezboard.com/fdamienrice...17.showMessage ?topicID=22.topic

I don't about "better" than last night. Crowd sucked tonight. Big time.

Show was more energetic than last night, but that just means different. Last night was slow and drawn out, tonight was hammered. For example, I'd guess they played The Professor in about 30 seconds less time tonight than last night.Edited by: Mario

Well, if you thought the crowd last night sucked, let's see what happens in Boston - general admission, standing room and bars....let the fun begin. Although I agree that the crowd was not ideal, Tomo actually said he thought the crowd was pretty quiet and very respectful. He thought it was a great crowd. He said that he was worried about what tonight's show in Boston would be like and that he didn't have high hopes.

I was in the third row dead center, so I didn't have to deal with the screaming idiots. I think that the farther back your seats are, the more assholes who feel like they need to let their presence be known by screaming there are going to be.

I hope they don't start out with an attitude of resignation (Not that I'm any more optimistic - but then you never know. )

I spoke to Tomo before the show. He was getting pizza in a shop directly behind the Beacon and we walked in. We waited till he finished eating and said hello.

I've never seen someone so shocked to be recognized. On top of that, all we said was "Good show last night." So he was really confused. He stared at us for a second and said "In Philly, right?" as though he couldn't remember where they played or else still thought we believed he was someone else. Then he asked if we were going to the show tonight.

Thanks Julia, I'm sooooooo ready! As long as I don't get beer bottles over my head (or similar unforseen tragedies) there's just nothing that will get into the way of enjoying myself.

It's been so long (April for the Frames and October for Damien) I'm just so happy to see everybody again!

Thanks Wheels! A much more crowded affair tonight than usual, though, so I don't know if I'll be able to catch up with them tonight. (Venue holds 2,000.)

I never had to try that out so far. Now there's a thought! Though I'm going with two friends, so I have to be considerate.

You did you did! I was absoltely astonished! It was probably the best crowd at any Damien show I've been to and I'm so glad that I didn't let my fears about a loud rowdy crowd win over my desire to just be there. It was awesome!

...shutting up about Boston now...
