I hope this doesn't mean that we wait 2 hours for him to take the stage like we did the last time I went to "An Evening with Damien Rice"

2 hours? That's ridiculous!

Yes, it was ridiculous. And there was no air conditioning (another Damo quirk that drives me bananas), so we were all hot and sweaty and smelly by the time he came on. blah!

Yikes! I get grumpy when I have to wait too long for anything. By the way, I think I am the only Damien Rice fan in Utah. Please, people, come to the Salt Lake show. Fly out here if you must. I will cry if nobody is there and Damien probably won't come back here because that's what always happens with the really, really awesome bands. I will move. To Ireland maybe.

Mucker will see the kiddo in Washington DC, end of May. He's only been in my awareness a cpl years, but his heart's been singing to me all my Life.
Mr. Rice is a great re-connection. I'll be there to thank him and enjoy his take on Life.

I'm going to the show in Austin and I'm really excited! My brother, two friends, and I are going and we're all really stoked for next week. I'm wondering what the show is going to be like since, you know, as far as the ambient.

Anyone going to the show in Austin or anywhere else in TX?

I'm gonna see 3 shows next week!!!!! Cannot wait!!

So who else is going?????????????????????????????????????

And which songs you wanna hear? I'm hoping for Fool, Insane, the return of Prague!!!!! and Sleep don't weep!!!!! and I really wanna hear What this night is for, too!!!
I'm going to go see Mr. Rice at the Constitution Hall in Washington DC. I'll be happy to share the Space and Time with the Ginger Poet. Whatever he plays, I'll be letting his Tide wash over me. Coming from and always admiring the Tale-Spinners, he could tell a tale of the song for 15 minutes and sing for 2, I'll be a happy lad. (Tho he may piss-off the Oprah Crowd of Angry Sniffy Soccer-Moms).
If yer in the area, look for a Guinness-head...gimme a hug and a wink.....enjoy Damien's company. He's about a rare lil flower.
Walk in Peace.

My fiancee and I will be in Tucson tonight, driving down from Phoenix. Hopefully we aren't the only ones, as there isn't even a thread for the concert on here! It'll be my 2nd time seeing him (1st time in 3+ years) and her first, so I've got high hopes. I've been away from the boards and busy with life for quite a long time, and I wasn't aware of all the Lisa drama going on until recently, so it'll be interesting to see how the crowd is. Only thing I ask though -- Damo, this is Arizona, you do NOT want to see how quickly we get cranky when there is no A/C!

Does anyone know the song that Vivienne sang at the Austin show?

I have two photos to share from the Austin's show. I have some videos too but haven't uploaded them yet.
