"Grey Room" is feautured in the trailer for Focus Features "Reservation Road." The movie looks fantastic, imo, and was pleasently suprised to hear Damien.

After watching a second time, the song really doesn't fit the mood of the trailer at all. The melody is a bit uplifting towards the end of the song and it's played at the most intense part of the trailer.

Oh well, still think it's going to be a great movie.

Has anybody seen this???? I just read the movie was released last Fri in the US, but on limited release... so not playing here yet... but was wondering if anyone watched and how Grey Room is used in the film or if it's played in full...

So far the movie's got pretty bad reviews. It opens wide release next Fri!!

Just because a piece of music is used in a trailer doesn't mean it's in the film, so it might not actually be in there. I saw the trailer today and immediately stopped paying any attention to the story and was trying to hear only the song.

Edited to say I looked up the soundtrack on Amazon and Grey Room in not listed. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's not in the movie so who know. 21percent of the people who looked at that soundtrack bought 9 though. I guess a lot of Damien fans have seen the trailer.

^ Well, that's why I was asking if anyone has seen it But I guess they bought the rights for the song and will use it...

Yes. Though the only one i can think of off the top of my head is the other song used in the Closer trailer. I think it's called Caramel. Many trailers use scores from other films.

Really? I just remember "Lux Aeterna" being used in the trailer for the second LotR movie... It took me ages to find out what song it was. But it IS amazing. So you can't really blame people for using it in trailers.

So what happened with this movie??????????

It opened in like 13 theatres in total in the whole US, and next week it was gone. I thought it was an initial 1st week limited release and that it was gonna expand 2nd week... but instead it disappeared!!!!!!!

Anyone know what happened? I'm thinking it did very very bad in those few theatres and they decided it to cancel it The reviews were not amazing, but they weren't that bad either... guess it's DVD next...

Anyone managed to watch it?

The hype was pretty high and it didn't deliver. I was getting bored with it and just kept waiting if Grey Room would play.

The acting was great though.

I didn't hear it, but I didn't stay for most of the ending credits.

I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't. I haven't seen the movie, but the soundtrack looks like their was a proper score written for the movie.

I can't imagine why they'd break that up and throw in Grey Room.
