thanks guys for the welcome, me and my mates are doin a damien tribute type thingy tommorow in a school concert, were down as the tribute band damien TWICE ! wish us luck (were doin lonely soldier, and either blowers daughter or volcano0 keep it vaguely imaginary (as opposed to real) |

thanks guys, gig went well today, didnt get to record it tho, [img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img] but ill be doin it again next week so ill try to record the band and get it on. im from belfast in northern ireland, stranmillis in the south,if anyone knows where that is.... the name came about over a drunken conversation about wot the opposite of "sticky buns" is, i meant to say "lubricated fruit", but "laminated fruit" came out, dont ask why, (ask why not?). |

thats where the teaching college is matthew right? a few mates want to go there next year! Im from Fermanagh, but i doubt u venture over here too often. Hope u can get the next gig up for us all to listen to. No pressure, but the eskimos are a very talented bunch (me excluded cos i aint got a note in me head sadly). hey hannah, i cant say that i have been to fermanagh,but theres always time! ive been listening to the covers by the eskimos, they're really good! are any of your mates in the ulster youth orchestra?(and everybody's got a note in their head!!)

it doesnt really matter what your bro is into if pam is asking, so long as he is male, and has an irish accent. He gets bonus marks if he suuports Celtic or looks in any way like Niel Lennon for eg:red hair, runs funny, goes to saunas after work etc etc. If he's in college in Scotland, holidays in Scotland or is willing to do so, especially to Glasgow, he should contact Pamela immediately![img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img] Nah none of my mates are in that orchestra. Although one who goes by the name Clara Tracey used to be i think - might not be any more, not sure And im sure everyone has a note of some sort in their head, its just i never seem to have the right one at the right time!![img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img]

hmmm i met that girl you're on about a few times-- in fact I think i saw her driving on friday...[img]smileys/smiley36.gif[/img] sorry for intruding[img]smileys/smiley9.gif[/img]- my teacher wanted me to join that orchestra - but u needed to audition and therefore know ALL your scales etc so i figured i'd just go to the Fermanagh one instead! lol. can't say that i know Clara tracey. the great thing about the uyo now is that they dont ask you scales anymore, just pieces, exerpts and sightreading, i got my audition on 8th o janurary, and im sooo dead! its not goin to be a good xmas this year with practising and revision for exams in jan, [img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img]. what do you play eims ?
