Paolo Nutini
anyone heard of this guy/
i actually heard him by accident about a month ago. a friends band were playing the ruby sessions and he was headlining it... never seen a queue for the rubysessions before. his fanbase is mainly women, who get very intense when he gets onstage he was very good that night and really nice guy as i chatted to him afterwards.. things have really taken off for him. anyways i think he is high up the charts now.. he has a great voice, and a nice guy into the bargain, so check him out links ; www.paolonutini.com www.myspace.com/paolonutini

i've only heard a few of his songs that yer man up there sent me but i like him.. he has a very european sound (or thats how it hits my american ears) and i can see him making it over there but not sure he would fly in the states..
i was having a conversation with a friend one night about how i think europe likes sappy songs (no offense) more than america.. he beat his heart with his fist and said "because we have it here".. which was exactly the point i was going to make.. so some of his music i've heard is a little sappy but i like it where is he from? his name sounds italian.. |
