I'm really hoping this goes on to youtube. I'm downloading the mp3 right now but I have a mac so there's a good chance it won't work bleh

other than that....

Damien was wearing a santa hat? I really cannot believe this until I see it. If it's true I may lose a bit of respect for him. Please say he doesnt wear a santa hat!

I didn't think Damien called his music disposable. I thought he said he uses it to dispose of things he carries with him that he no longer wishes to.
Anyways, Bumpman, thanks for sharing that - you're so nice always sharing stuff like that with everyone. I really enjoyed elephant and 9 crimes (i like it alot without the piano - good alternative - refreshing!!)

oh wow you haven't heard sand? Its such a great song, you will love it..
After listening to the full session, I think its brilliant, what more could you want. He played old and new songs and even mixed up the arrangements in many of them. I loved it.
thanks bumpman....cheers.

Whenever I see the words 'other voices' or 'songs from a room' or 'Dingle' in the same sentence, makes me want to get on a plane or a boat and a car and go there. Ah, those lucky Dingle dwellers...

Is there people who actually live in Dingle full time these days?

It's interesting to see how different people reacted to this concert.
Personally I thought it was AMAZING!

I really like the more upbeat version of 9 crimes, always refreshing to here songs in a new wrapping. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. This one worked for me!!!
Elephant was excellent, to me it seemed like he was re-living whatever made him write the song.
Volcano too, brilliant - and I never heard Sand before. I liked it instantly.

I thought the band was tight, the sound was good, the violin instead of cello was another refreshing spice, (but I prefer cello in the long run) and both Damien and Lisa's voices sounded "topnotch"...no complaints here.

Interesting interviews and I saw nothing but a good vibe.

I wonder if people sometimes get a good concert ruined by crappy pc-speakers...?

I'm going to watch it again!

(Thank you for the mp3 Bumpman! I'd love to have this on dvd.)

Wow, just watched it online and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!! He looked pretty funny in that scarf and the red hat. Loooooooved all the songs he played!!! Great song selection!! Wasn't expecting Sand or Rat... I especially liked Grey room, and Volcano, and 9 Crimes... but my fav was Elephant, just him on the guitar, wow... It was great to hear the last part without the distortion, he clearly sang "I could throw HER out... I could be true" (and he clearly sang 'thorny' as someone in another topic was doubting)

Thanks for the MP3s too!!!

That was f*cking amazing!!!

What a great show. Actually, I thought all the solo in the pub stuff was stunning. As for him seeming depressed during the interview segments, well, despite the fact that I disagree since he smiled quite a few times, isn't that what makes spine-chilling performances like these possible? Seeing him play 'Elephant' in a relatively good mood just doesn't even come close.
