for anybody who wants to check damien out before he went solo, ill be hosting these files for just a couple of weeks, as i reckon they'll take a pretty big hit on the bandwidth .... they are all discontinued, so the way i see it no one is losing on revenue ... click here ..... if people are having problems downloading these, ie. they are on a 56k modem, i am willing to trade for other live performances of damien rice, I currently have live at bonnaroo, and one poor quality one at the olympia (cant remember the date), so any others would be taken into cosideration, as long as they a re top notch quality, and doneas a one cd for one cd basis..... sorry no B&P only, i dont have much time on my hands at the moment ... cheers Edited by: peepingtom |

whoa... le plagiat... "ophelia" reminds me "karma police" by
radiohead. listen to their beginnings.. the first strums are almost identical. the overall construction and effect is very similar as well. I knew it sounded familiar when i heard it. |

But all those songs are a single cd from the Juniper collected rarities set... and it's a 2cd set? i thought that more people had it.

Ya, I'm surprised that a lot of people still don't know about the 'not-so-rare-anymore' rarities cds. And I hope that those people who have just discovered it via the aforementioned site realised there's a non-mp3 lossless version doing the rounds of the trading circuit. Here's the full 2 cd tracklist for anyone who's interested:
disc one 1 eskimo 2 volcano 3 face 4 i remember december 5 never (live at the olympia) 6 woman like a man 7 beautiful madness 8 sex change 9 cutting the rose 10 aphelia 11 then go 12 face (live at home) 13 down 14 tongue (live at the olympia) disc two 1 me my yoke and i 2 spaceship 3 wooden horse 4 slowset 5 offshore 6 the professor 7 voodoo doll 8 beautiful madness 9 boring afternoon 10 jewellery box 11 toffeepop 12 never (live with gemma hayes) 13 little sister 14 you There's also artwork for the CD, but I can't be arsed posting it right now. every chance I also have the other lost tracks disc, plus live material to upload I'll try and get them up at the weekend, but the site is taking a big hit for bandwidth, and i only have a certain allocation, before i have to pay for extras .... if people are downloading all of the tracks, i'd appreciate it if they could possible make a small contribution ... i promise i'm not trying to rip people off, and IF in the event more people donate than necessary, i will give the remainder to the Tsunami appeal. |

as far as i am aware they are burned directly from the original cd's, of copies of them ..... the mp3's i have uploaded are of very good standard, hense the size of the files being so big ..... and unless you have supersonic hearing, you wouldnt tell the diference ..... |

Ooops - we have some v confusing simultaneous posting and editing afoot here. Some people just prefer to have lossless copies of the originals tom, as these tracks are inevitably going to get burned to audio CD and possibly encoded a second or third time to mp3 - at which point you will start to hear issues.
But handy for downloading to your portable player etc, no doubt about that - I just wanted to fill people in on where the tracks came from.

Dunno if people are going to be happy with the 'donate' idea, mind - when you can get the stuff for free in a trade, I doubt people will want to fork out cash for mp3s. I'm not sure that's quite in the spirit of things on this forum. I could be wrong of course.
Oh, and I have a feeling that the copy you've got is different from the originally circulated rarities, which features 2 versions of Face on the first disc and doesn't have Weatherman on any of them (as it wasn't all that rare). I suspect whoever told you it was a copy of the original disc has been telling porky pies.Edited by: framesaver

i dont have a problem with any of that....... im not looking to make money out of it, i'll just terminate the site, when it hits the limit on the actual content of the cd's, and how they originally were listed .... does it really matter? .... i like manywere just looking to get as many juniper tracks as possible, as i missed them the first time around .... you can take the downloads or leave them .... i thought i was doing people a favour? |

Don't get me wrong man, I'm sure a lot of folks are buying you a metaphysical pint right now. I'm just trying to keep things in harmony between the worlds of downloading and trading (As they often have scraps outside the pub after one too many).
All the above posts are just to inform people of their choices. And choice is always a good thing.

Sorry to drag this back from the past... But, I am but a Juniper-less boy, and feel much the worse for it. I just wondered/hoped if some kind soul would upload these or whatever they have to a site such as YSI, Megaupload etcetc. If that's allowed?
