still have 2+2=5 and Everything In Its Right Place stuck in my head.. I didn't like any of their albums post-The Bends but the newer songs sounded the best tonight. I loved the screens they had at the side of the stage, the camera work and the different effects on each of the band members was really well done.

you'd imagine that if Smigel fronted a rock band it would be Radiohead. they seem to have a real split-personality thing going on with the traditional type rock songs, but they the next minute they're going mental with unearthly sounds coming out of the amps.... but it sounds great!Edited by: Loveless

Man its so easy to get in downstairs, if your stuck with balcony seats in the Point!! If you know someone who's got standing tickets gethim/her to go in with their friends and bring out all the ticket stubs to you. Or if you dont know anyone downstairs, just throw someone a few quid to bring them out with them.

I've been stung with balcony tickets in the Point, two or three times before and not once sat in upstairs.

amazing! I was in the front about 3 metres away from tom and it was so hot and when they plaid paranoid A i jumped as did everyone else but it was so squashed my feet didnt land on the ground i was bouncin up and down for ages by the crowd! It was amazin the whole thing people everywhere around me faintin with the heat! Just and the raindrops were the best for me but when everyone was singin karma police that was just sureal!

Peter I must have been near you,I was right up the front too.I was up on someones shoulders for fake plastic trees and couldnt sing I was in shock,it was wicked!Did ye see BellX1 in the balcony and Glen Hansard,haha me and a bunch of people were shouting "BellX1!!!",they gave us a wave and all!I'm going to see them tonight,I'll be like,yes that was me screaming at ye.Have to agree Karma Police and Paranoid Android were the best songs,along with 2+2=5,the crowd was feckin lethal for that.Such a good night!

I dont think so.I was chattin to a guy with a USSR top though,and some other guy who kept moshing was wearing that top with the star Damien always wears!If you saw a fella on a girls shoulders that was me,he lasted a whole 30 secs up there,I was proud of myself considering I'm pretty small!

it was their last gig of the tour apparently, probably better than wednesday's.

thursday night was definately better (much louder) although Thom was dancing around more on Wednesday. "There There" was at the end of the first set but it's better as a starter to the gig. Best song from Wed was "I will" on Thursday was "The Bends".

yeah i would have loved to hear The Bends included on the wednesday. Creep doesn't really do much for me.
i'm surprised they didn't include 'high and dry' on either night.
