Any time he does 'When Doves Cry/Babe I'm Gonna Leave You/Glory Box' is special, but the version from Paris on 30th June 2005 is THE best Damo live thing ever ever EVER.
He starts with the build up, that I've heard him use on I Remember, and then just is messing around with his voice, lots of Damo created noise. Then he sort of moans 'Cos I'm so tired' through the distortion. Then goes into Glory Box. It is amazing.

For me it's anytime he plays Tounge...that is just an amazing song live. The April 11th 2004 (which of course I was at) it was really amazing because he played it and the entire band was "unplugged" so to speak.

The Beacon Theatre in NYC. I think it was March 5 (or was it May 3) 2004. That one never gets old. Good intensity, good jams, good talks, damn good music. Also the bonnaroo show (but my memory of it is better than the recording).

Hey all,
I Remember at the St. Lukes Gig became my psyching up song (of all things) before my tennis matches!! Seemed to work because I ended up winning the tournament!!! I'll say that, but Woman Like a Man from the same show was excellent as well. Apart from the BBC Sessions and Headliners, I haven't heard huge amounts of live Damo. The weird reggae version of Volcano at last years Glasto was strangely good though....

I Remember from Paris...Not sure which show, but It's 9 minutes of pure musical orgasm. Reaching blinding extremes and thanks to Lisa's ghostly vocals at the end, I am now in no doubt that she is an angel. (And the rest of the band have been especially blessed by God! :P )

I don't know if it's my favorite exactly, but when he jammed onstage with herbie hancock at the end of his show at the troubadour he went pretty crazy, was scattin' and everything! And it went on for about 14 minutes, it was mighty wicked, and Damien really really got into it and everyone in the band looked shocked like he just completely let go and surprised us all.
