I cant believe this, he killed himself, this is seriously bad news,


i loved this guy, 245 is one of my all time faviorte songs, i spent like an hour downloading songs from him i never heard last week


i spent the last thirty minutes at work finding every news article i could, and shouting NO NO NO ....

nor was kurt cobain god by any means. my comment had absolutely zero to do with the music actually. i was simply commenting that i hope his situation doesn't make him a hero like cobain's did. i think it's absurd.

and i agree with you one hundred percent, i lived in olympia when kobain offed himself, people at school were crying and all sorts of crazy stuff,





it just sucks to me becuaase i only found out about him maybe six months ago, and had bougth alomost all his cd's because i really liked him

I was at the Shepherds Bush gig the night he died, and loads of people where shouting outing requests to Damien (he didn't play any though). It the time wasn't quite sure why they all wanted Elliot Smith songs played, but found out on the train journey home.[img]smileys/smiley6.gif[/img]
Just to answer your question, Nina Simone died Easter of this year. Barry White, Nina Simone, Johnny Cash,Elliot Smith... it's been a sad year.Edited by: tomuea
