Just glad I could make a contribution.
I was starting to feel like a pretentious little newcomer, starting threads here and there trying to get people to chat! Only thing that's missing from the forum really, chat, lots and lots of chat! I was hoping for a big long-winded discussion over the Temple Bar gig but all I got was a few posts... I had only started listening to Damien about ten days or so before that gig but for some reason I just felt compelled to go to it... I think it's because I'd stopped playing guitar regularly for so long and I felt that by going there I'd be surrounded by people who were as interested in the guitar and acoustic music and live performance as I once was; I'm getting back into it now, gradually, but I won't be the same 'til I perform live again sometime, it's been maybe four or five years since I have and I used to f**kin' love it!). I hadn't got a ticket and the gig was starting in fours hours time, but I just thought f**k it I'll go in! |

i really don't think this forum lacks chatiness, thomas - just try and try and try again, and you'll get people talking. maybe it takes a bit to get into it here, but when you've been here for a while and people get to know you, you'll see chattiness like nowhere else, i'm sure welcome to the igloo
