austin city limits?

I am curious if anyone got a chance to attend the ACL festival in Austin, I know Damien was scheduled to perform Saturday evening...

I would love to hear about the festival....I was so close to being there..

! I just got a pm from very friendly new Eskimo who was at the festival and had a great time....

Those first three vids you posted are actually mine!! I was about three people from the stage and it was absolutely amazing. Damo played some of his more festival-friendly tunes; no Grey Room or Accidental Babies or Older Chests

But nonetheless, he never disappoints!

you guys think that it will be televised later on? like the one from '04?
if so it will probably be 9crimes, coconut skins, and yoke. i would say rootless BUT yea, people would have a hernia.

The ACL show is (usually) not from the festival, but from tapings they do in a small studio in Austin.

Yay! Finally I can post...how exciting

It was really really really a great show, wish you all could have been there...I had been talking to my friends about how great Damo was and I was so happy they finally got to see him...and all loved him, of course.

It most likely won't ever be on TV, because like it's already been said, they special tape certain performers for TV and Damien didn't do that. Haha I would agree though that they most likely wouldn't play Rootless Tree! I was so shocked and so happy he started with it though!
