Hey All, Anyone see DR on Flaunt (obivously I waschannel hoping!!)last night bout 23:30? It was part of the Best InternationalMale Award for The Brits, he did Valcano but not quite the album version. Very good stuff. Apparently he's up against 50 Cent, Justin TrouserSnake, Beck and Sean Paul (what is the world coming to). I imagine you'll all be voting for Mr Spears?? don't think it was Louis Walsh, because my shoe would be stuck in my tv right now if it was.

Can't say I hate Louis... he's successful... globally... he doesn't encourage music that I value, but that doesn't make me hate him.
What was it Bono said? Something like... In America everyone looks at the guy in the big house on the hill and wants to be him... in Ireland they want to pull him down. |

Quote:
i have to agree with you on the Irish thing of pulling people down. However i once heard Louis say something (i can't remember the quote) about how he simply used the fans of his acts until they grow a brain. i thought it was awful considering they gave him most of that money. He also has an arrogancy about him. Otherwise, fair play to him for being a good business man.
