Guess what y'all?

Patricia sent me a bunch of the rare songs from Damo's early years! I'll start a briefcase for everyone so you can hear em. Be back with the details

Cool! But I personally prefer Damien's solo versions of his songs-- the Juniper stuff is so over-produced and wrought with stuff like drum machines and other crap... but still cool from a historical perspective.

I agree completely sister midnight but the ones in my briefcaseare the raresongs that mostlyhave yet to be redone by him solo so this is the only way a lot of us will getto hearthem until he re-records again.

Ok so here's the briefcase ID: juniper2@sbcglobal.net pass: eskimo

please don't upload anything else to itw/out my permission though, ok?

Yes, I agree with natekeegan. I tried (and miserably failed) taping 4.24.2004 (The Odeon) and I know no one else taped it, and a tape will never surface of this great show. I for one feel bad for f**king up, and for the others who went to the show who won't be able to hear it again. I think it is necessary (but still a privilege, as with any recording) to have the show (espicially your first show which it was natekeegan and myself for 4.24.2004) to look back on and listen. If you are concerned about this show being sold or being circulated in inferior copies, then just B+P it to a select # of people, and make sure it stays remote. It will still be surfaced, but remote (and as remote I mean you don't have to torrent it on STG so everyone and their mother's can download it, convert it to mp3 or worst sell it on Ebay). You have pronounced to this board, about a month or month and a half ago about having this recording, I think you should release it to those worthy of recieving it.

Thank You.

sorry guys,

There are now9 rarely heardJunipersongs in my briefcase (and I'll put them allup if Patricia sends em all becauseI can make more briefcases too). I thought some of them had alreadyuploaded that hadn't yesterday and thenwhen I looked today to add to itthere were only two in there!

Be sure to tell me what you guys think of them. Several of them are quite good.I think "you" should/could be on Damo's next album.

"Never" is truly awesome it's live and features Gemma Hayes and goes into a medley of Willie Nelson's gorgeousclassic"Always on my Mind"!

"Ophelia" sounds exctly like a Radiohead song!

ive not actually uploaded to the server yet as its near impossible to log onto it. you have to log into the server to be able to download and upload. i use a program called net transport which i got from download.com in order to download though im not sure about sending. mario who owns the server does close it if someone wants to upload especially. you could alternately start a bit torrent of the recording. reply for further intructions.

ok first things first have your cd and you probably have windows media player right? well use that program to rip the files to a directory(a folder). for copying music from a cd on media player ther is a tab to the left that says 'copy from cd' then at the top of the screen of the media player window there are drop down boxes (file, view, play, tools etc) click tools then select options. to change your setting for music copying you need to click the copy music tab. here you change the quality of what you are ripping and where its going. once done click ok then copy music on the media player. this should take about 10 mins to copy maybe less. after that you should have a folder ready for sharing in some way. when you select the quality of what you are ripping try to use the lossless format as people who share prefer that. reply for further instructions

you should have 3 options one win media lossless which will create a duplicate of the cd at about 500mb. alternately you can try and use the normal one but increase the quality but it wont be as big and as good. maybe you have an older version of media player. im currently using windows player nine. its a free download.

highest possible, means it will have more quality. like i say you really need to be using lossless for the other sharers. i however dont mind. using the highest quality you can get should be fine.
