if you have already ripped it to the highest quality you can get then no its fine as it is. then you have to create a torrent file which takes no time at all.

They're not in Neil's briefcase (pass: eskimo) they're in Spamlet's: ID: juniper2@sbcglobal.net pass: eskimo Cille has set up a thread in the trading section that contains the details of briefcases and trading sites (in case you forget the passwords again). Thank you Spamlet for sharing these tracks with us. Ophelia and Down have disappeared however. If this isn't just my computer playing a practical joke on me, could you please upload them again. Cheers

I'd be surprised if "You" ended up on Damien's album. I remember Paul singing it a couple of times so I think it was probably majorly written by him.... as "Never" was - which has become Bell X1's "Eve"... So maybe on the Bellies next album? |

Jerry Lee, I'll be completely honestI don't know a lot about Bell X-1 or almost anything aboutPaul but when I listen to that song it definitelysounds like classic Damo emotionally, lyrically and melody wise.I don'tpresume that just cause one guy sang it half the timethat means he wrote it. Then again maybe Paul is similar to damo in terms of what he writes again I defer to those who know the band like you do. |

I've decided not to include "Ophelia" anymore after reading that despite it sounding like him Damien isn't actuallythe one singing it (I may take "Voodoo Doll" off too if I get ahold ofanother good Damo sung one). But I've addedtwo brilliant juniper tracks including: the extraordinary "Cutting the Rose" which is a hard, driving, fascinatingtirade against the crueltyof Catholicism and the haunting "Jewelry Box" which uses the same chord progressionas "Sex Change" (which is also back up onthere)but played as if ona child'smusic box. Thisis, in my opinion, in every way a better song. I'd be interested to know if "Cutting the Rose" is based on an actual event of thechurch mutilating a girl or not. Was something like this in the Irish newspapers around 5-10 years ago? |

Hi Spamlet, Yeah, I know what you mean. But I'm pretty sure "You" came mostly from Paul... you just know with some songs. Like "Eskimo" and "Amie/Spaceship" were definitely definitely written (lyrics-wise) by Damien.... Bell X1 would never do them. And "Never/Eve" was definitely written by Paul - Damien doesn't do it as his own. Paul sang "You" around the same time he used to sing "Beautiful Madness" live with Juniper and it ended up on the first Bell X1 album. He would also have written other Juniper songs like their single "World is Dead" and another one called "Deliverance" though Damien sang them usually. But I could be wrong! JL |
