700 pound for a electric Piano... ouch. making it the most expensive musical item I've ever bought. the second most was a 400 pound electric guitar (bargain though).. whats the most you've ever spent on an instrument? |

i havent spent that much but my friend spent 4,500 on one go in a guitar shop... cant even remember what the make of his electric is but i can tell you if you throw it on the ground you still sound as good as jimmy page[img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

I spent £300 on a second hand keyboard once and also £300 for my Washburn SB-5 electric guitar (also second hand). [img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

£750 for a blue Gibson Les Paul Studio... It looked, sounded and played beautifully. Although that was when I was in drop-D tuned, grunge mode and had hair down to my waist, a goatee and wore shorts. Still wear shorts mind you, just have cropped hair, no goatee and a beat-up Tanglewood acoustic [img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]

I have spend £1200 on a violin..........and i have just had it re-valued at £400 don't tell me how pissed off i am!!But melody maker man you are sooooo lucky to get a piano i could really do with a new one!
