Bell x1 Setlists
Ok i am going to a Bell x1 gig very soon and I wanted to know is there anywhere I can get a recent setlist in order to download songs for my mates to listen to as they havent really heard them. This would be very much appreciated. Sorry for it being a bit off topic but after all Damo did used to play with them. Please get back to me asap with any help you guys can provide. Once again thank you all so much for welcoming me into your wonderful forum.

I may be being very stupid here, but I would've thought the best way would just be to get your hands on their CDs? I saw them earlier in the year and they stuck to stuff from Flock and Music in Mouth.

You'll be pretty much getting stuff from the last two albums. They occasionally thorw something in to surprise people who've been to the gigs before, but as it stands I think they usually feel pretty much obliged to play the hits.

Ok thanks for that. Yeah what I got so far and feel free to add or correct me if im wrong:
( in no particular order ) Alaphabet soup I'll see your heart and I'll raise you mine Face Volcano Snakes and snakes Eve the apple of my eye Bigger than me Next to you Rocky took a Lover I know what you mean. I have the albums but they want to listen to the hits I suppose. I have seen them before and recently at oxegen and like them very much so. And I know some of there stuff is not to everyones liking so i was trying to keep to the hits if you will. So what do you feel about what I have, what have I missed or in fact put in which prob wont get played? |

Might get a 'Tongue' squeezed in there also. Wish they played more o their stuff from Neither Am I but alas...
If you saw em at Oxegen, most o those songs are the one's they've played for the last few times i've seen em.

Hi Lovers,
Just give them copies of the last two albums!. The last two times I seen the Bellies, they played about half of the tunes from 'Music In Mouth' and all but two songs from 'Flock'. Plus a B-side, and a Depeche Mode and Talking Heads cover. So you've a bit of variety there! I doubt very much that they'll sing anything from their first album, Neither Am I, but perhaps Dave Geraghty will do 'Offshore'. They seem to avoid any song which Damien now does in his setlists. At every BX1 gig I've been to, some muppet in the audience has chanted for them to sing DR songs.....yawn. They're a band in their own right, and in some ways, much better live on stage than Damien himself! |
