Album 4?

Was listening now to some damo talking at berlin and at one point he says: a new record came out today and another one is on its way

guess this ties in with the interview in which he mentions the studio in Iceland being booked to work with Alex Somers and other interviews saying he has many (100?) unfoinished songs

So should we really hope for a 2015 release for album 4?? Or should we be more cautious with our expectations?

i´d say we should enjoy the album 3 now

without thinking ahead... just my humble opinion though.

He has probably enough songs to fill another 5 records within the next year

Never expect an album from an artist, even if they say there's one on the way, ESPECIALLY when they've only recently released one. Extremely often, they never ever arrive.

My advice is to always enjoy the most recent album as if it was the last one ever, and expect nothing further.

As well as that, in my experience, as album release frequency increases, derived enjoyment from each album decreases. More releases are not necessarily a good thing.

I think he is super excited about this recording sessions he's booked for January and his mind is just flying thinking about new songs and new possible records. But yes, let's concentrate on MFFF now... remember that right after O was released he was saying the second album was ready?

He's always claimed another album was coming soon after the previous one with "O" it was going to be the angry album. Then after "9" he said there'd be a happy album then the Barcelona project never got released...

So I'll certainly hope for the best but will not be holding my breath that Damo part 4 will follow soon.

i think 1 album/4 years is great, 2 or 3 years is too soon

Would love if he did a passenger and released a part 2 album. Either that or it'd be great if he could release a couple of singles with new bsides

At the Austin show he said he was working on his next album and that it would come out next year.

I talked to him after the show and when I said "please come to Austin more often" he chucked and nodded and said "well I'll be back next year" which I presumed was for his next album.

crossing my fingers.
