9 is such a grower....
At first I wasn't as hugely impressed as I thought I'd be.
But after two or three listens I'd put it almost on par with O. I think it was just because I was used to the old live versions and needed to adjust to the new studio recordings. Love the likeness lyrics and chord-progession wise between sleep don't weep and cold water. It's excellent. I think i prefer the live version of Rootless Tree as this version is a little too commercial and poppy - but it's still excellent. Accidental Babies is beautiful. My least favourite is The Animals Were Gone - which surprised me as it seems to be one of the most popular amongst everyone here. Anyways just thought I'd share my thoughts. Oh and I was lucky enough to have Virgin Megastores allow me to have the giant promo poster for Nine when they're done with it next week. Hoorah xxx |

i agree.. accidental babies is beautiful. in my opinion its like the Eskimo of O.
i dont like to give stars and throw reviews at this record because to be judging the music is to be judging the person. |

I love Dogs personally; it has a lovely melodic sound to it.

I'm very sad. I went to the music store yesterday and today and they don't know when they'll got the album I order it now from HMV. I don't want to wait 2 weeks to listen the album. I'm spanish jeje.
I don't know if this happens in other places, |

I ordered a week ago or so on ebay, for a convenient price I'd say (given the fact that here in Italy cds usually cost more than 20 euros), because I don't have the latest idea of when it is coming out here

I have to say I olny got the album today and had been really worried about some of the comments here but i absolutely love it!
There is something odd about it but it has a sort of haunting uncomfortability but I think that adds greatly to the album. I say if this album is a grower then I'm in trouble.
