Hesitance
Seems to me like people are hesitant to post as much as before... like when you get a new car and you don't want to get it dirty for the first few weeks....
Maybe people are nervous about the stability of the forum? Don't worry people it's ROCK SOLID... watch this! *JUMP* *JUMP *JUMP* See!

I think one big difference is that the user profiles used to be in the left hand column. Now they are across each post and you see a lot fewer posts on the screen at anyone time. It takes up a lot of real estate.
Anyway, it's just all new You can turn the email notifications off in your profile, eims.

Yeah, I think we all need to get used to the new setup. Plus, maybe people are pissed that they have no more stars!

we do have to put a reason if we want to edit stuff, which is strange, but handy for those of us who do it anyway and it's nice to see what mischief caused people to change..

I'm not gonna say anything for a week. It always takes a while to get used to a new forum interface.
I think it's more that the igloo and the blue (!) color remind me of all the snow outside

i really like the darker background too
it's just new and learning all the different functions and how to navigate takes getting used to. it seems like you can't reply or keep up with discussions as easily since you can't hover and see the content of the last four posts like you used to, and you have to follow a link for the full post reply box instead of it being at the bottom of the thread.. but i'm sure the expert posters will learn to work around that pretty quickly for me, being not so quick on the draw to begin with, i've just been slowed down a bit more is all |
