Got home too late to post anything on monday night and I've been on a course since tuesday. (Oh, how I loathe role play, whoever thought adults engaging in role play was a good idea needs their head examining )! Anyhow, arrived at the Palladium about 30 seconds before Kate Earle came on stage (due to me becoming totally disorientated as i emerged from Piccadilly Circus tube station - at least I think that's where I was). I felt a lot of sympathy for Kate at times, as she seemed to be completely overwhelmed by the occasion, unlike Damien who seemed so at ease on stage. He was on great form, much chattier than at the St Luke's gig, when he hardly said a word to the audience. Very difficult for me to pick out a favourite moment as the whole evening was so wonderful. I think it's all been said in other people's posts really. Thank goodness Felix and others have remembered the set list, as my crummy memory is useless at recalling that kind of detail. (Just one song I'd never heard before, no idea what it was, and Damien didn't introduce it as far as I can remember). A really good crowd there, who all contributed to the very lovely atmosphere that night.

The blower's daughter part 2 Delicate Woman like a man Amie > Sex change * Accidental babies Volcano Older chests % Prague Lonely soldier The professor > La fille danse Childish The blower's daughter ?? Eskimo I remember Unplayed piano # Cold water * Juniper cover % unplugged # from the 'action for burma' video The girl who was shouting for Lisa was sitting directly in front of me. Cheers, darling! Here are some of the lyrics from the new song: "you can hold her hand show her how you cry explain to her your weakness so she understands and then roll over and die you can brave decisions before you crumble up inside spend your life asking everyone else's permission and then run away and hide you can sit on chimneys put some fire up your ass don't even know what you're doing or waiting for if anyone should ask" best regards, stephen |

If anybody has a recording of "Cold Water", I hear Kate is interested in hearing it.
By the way, it's been forever since I posted here but I'm glad people liked Kate. I've been a fan for a little while now.
