It's hard to choose the best song, but for me the song I enjoy least is The Box. Don' t get me wrong, I love when he plays The box live but I don't like those horns in the studio version, it really messed up the best part a bit...
And kind of the same thing with Long long way, I adored this song when he played it at whelans, it brought me so much emotion. But now the mixing in studio version doesn't get me like the song used to. Long long way case is the different to The box. When the studio ver. of The box imho is not very great with horns, in other hand the studio ver. of Long long way is very beautiful and fit very well to the theme of the album, only that it's different and doesn't hit me hard enough. Maybe I love this song so so much which led to high expectation... So this is my final list: 1. The greatest bastard 2. It takes a lot to know a man 3. Long long way 4. My favourite faded fantasy 5. Colour me in 6. Trusty and true 7. I don't want to change you 8. The box |

1. Colour Me In
2. My Favourite Faded Fantasy 3. It Takes A Lot To Know A Man 4. I Don't Want To Change You 5. The Greatest Bastard 6. Long Long Way 7. The Box 8. Trusty And True MFFF and IDWTCY have grown on me massively in the context of the album, but there's hardly anything separating the top 5 for me, and the other 3 aren't that far behind. Very much like O, it's pretty much a perfect album.

I've been thinking a lot before ranking them because there isn't a song I really dislike.
1. It Takes a Lot to Know a Man 2. The Box 3. The Greatest Bastard 4. My Favourite Faded Fantasy 5. I Don't Want to Change You 6. Colour Me In 7. Trusty and True 8. Long Long Way |

I rank it in the following order:
1. "It Takes a Lot to Be a Man" & "Trusty and True" 2. "I Don't Want to Change You" & "Colour Me In" & "My Favorite Faded Fantasy" & "The Box" 3. "The Greatest Bastard" & "Long Long Way" Well I'd prefer to put all songs apart from Trusty.... and I Don't Want.... at second because putting any of those songs below the best seems just wrong. lol |
