Argh! My ears!!!

Well, I finally made it on to Mario's server (props for setting it up),
and downloaded a show that had good reviews on etree.org
(11-28-2003). Well, whenever things get going there is a harsh
crackle like the recording is peaking. It is driving me
completely insane. Is this the recording, or my sound set
up? If I did indeed download a poor quality show, can someone
recommend what they think is the best availible show on the
server? Phew.

the best quality is probably the henry fonda gig (10-4-03...i think)
or the el rey theatre (5-30-03). and if the 11-28-03 is the gypsy tea room gig, than the recordings bad, it was for me too.

i tried to download off the ftp but it confused me & plus it wouldnt bloody connect so i gave up[img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]

Its dead easy.

You get a ftp program (I'm making it so simple I'm not calling it a client), filezilla is a good one. then you enter the details of marios server into it (click add server) and you try to connect to it.

10-4-03 is AMAZING. Thanks for the great recommedation. The quality is aweomse, and it is an excellent show!!!!

This forum is great--so much nicer than the one on the official
