so anyone got any deep philosophical interpretations about 'i remember'??...in my book, by far the most complex song on the 'o' album....i'm thinking less about the first part than the second....any ideas?

I remember to me is about (lisa singin) the start of a wonderfull relationship its goin so well and then BANG!! (Damo's bit) Sth happens it and it ruins it, she does sth wrong and he just doesnt want to know her cuz its too painfull(I don wanna hear wat u have 2say about me etc) But he still has very fond memories of it or Its in december when it happened (I remember December)

thanks for that miss pink, im always interested to hear ppls thoughts on the lyrics....last night i was listening to older chests and i thoughti might have a theory as to what its about...i think its about things that are constant in life...that are entirely consistent...just like no matter how far u go back there are always 24 hours in a day.....and by the same token 'we all need the help of someone else to mend that shelf', no matter how strong or independent we are...theres also a great line about the older guys listening to the 'children scream or so it seems louder than before'...cos the children dont actually scream louder at all....it just seems like they do to the old guys who cant remember all the way bak to their youth.....thers a little melanchoy there with momma breaking down the other day...perhpas a combination of daddy losing at the races ad feckin off to other lands !! again....one of lifes constants....daddies who gamble , and mothers who are left to pick up the pieces....its a great tune whatever it means......see yas later
