All I known is that she is so so sweet and adorable and very
chipper. I got the chance to hang out and talk to her for a while after the seattle show, and she lent my friend her jumper because he looked cold. I asked her some things, like about whe she was young. She said she had been singing all of her life, and that when she was little she wanted to be an opera singer "none of that rock sh*t" she said "but look at me now." She was excited about going to canada because she watched Bowling for columbine and heard they don't lock their doors at night. I asked her if she ever co wrote any songs, and she said none of the ones on the album, but she joked about those damn carolers not paying their royalties for "silent night." She wrote my name on the guest list for their tour, so I went to the vancouver show, and she had me escorted through the alley to the backstage because I am underage. SO I got to stand backstage with them and watch the whole show. She is really very wonderful and sweet. Damien and her are both very friendly and funny. |

Welcome to Eskimo Friends Colleen! Hope you don't mind that I post this link to the posts over at the other messageboard about your awesome story about the Seattle and Vancouver gigs... I find it very relevant to this topic about Lisa (and how wonderful she is ) http://www.damienrice.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=2981

Wow am I jealous. I would like nothing more to have a conversation with Lisa....well, except maybe to sing with her (I am a singer, and a huge sucker for harmony). But yeah, if you guys could post an interview, or write some more stories down, that would be great! Thanks Wolf
