Excellent! Hearing it from a male's perspective, translated into French, and with a different guitar arrangement refreshed the song and kept it interesting. Because, in all honesty, Lisa with Lille is becoming a bit like Billy Joel with Piano Man (for example).

I love your version!! nice arrangement. maybe she'll hear it and will start playing it that way Noel Gallagher did that with Wonderwall after hearing Ryan Adam's version

Eva, yes I hope Lisa will sing this french version, specially she speaks french and that in fact as I say on the video she asked me this translation. We met at the french musical show she did recently (One shot not) (you should be able to see it on internet very soon), told me she liked the 2 little videos I did before (covers of "Pirate song" and "Pistachio") and suggested to me to do a french version of Lille that maybe she could sing when she will do concerts in France. |
