paypal question
ok, i sold a guitar of mine and the guy payed through paypal. it says he paid, but the money hasn't entered my account and the status on paypal says "pending." the guy i sold it to payed last night though.
anyone know if it just takes a few days or is it because i haven't shipped the item yet? i'm shipping it tonight or tomorrow cause my mom just picked up a box to put the guitar in, but she isn't home yet. is it normal to take a day or two to get the money into my account or is it something else? thanks!

it takes two or three day till the transaction clears, then a couple more days depending on how you withdraw the money from your account

I only use paypal to pay for things i buy. And that works like a charm. But the money has to come from somewhere. The internet is evil, watch out!

ive been scammed out of about 600 dollars thanks to paypal. They have the right to close your account and freeze your funds at any given time. It says so in their contract.
They do random freezing to keep peoples money and let it earn interest. see www.paypalwarning.com for thousands of cases like that Dont trust them with any great amounts of money..
