hi all

my name's David and am currently following my studies in Lyon, France.

it's been a little while since i first came to this forum, which was right after the release of his second album "9". i discovered his music with "9 crimes" and then found out he's the one who played "the blower's daughter".
that's when i started to listen to his debut album "O" which is mind-blowing!!
it's my fav' one! i don't know if any other album can/will beat it.. (if you have any suggestions, you're welcome!).
i really like this kind of depressive songs, but somehow find that there's still hope out there somewhere (IMO).

the highlight was when I went to see the band in Lyon last February.
the band was magnificent, and the Damien/Lisa duet was thrilling!
i found myself shivering during the whole gig! i hoped it'd last longer, plus, he didn't play Accidental Babies or Amie, which are 2 of my fav's.
I know he cannot play every song of both albums + B-Sides every night just for us, but hey, when you like someone's music, you can listen to it again and again..

I will go see him at the Olympia in Paris on July 5th, which I expect to be better than ever!
