Your Guitar(s)
Ok, I am hoping to get a bigger response to this, in contrast to my musicians' gear thread. So, what guitars do you have?

Oh . . . It feels so odd being a newbie, being that the last boards I was on right before this one, I was on for 4 years. I left because all the new guys became immature, the old guys left, they new guys gained control, and were attacking me, and mocking me, and saying I lied about the things I knew. The site owner is now appaled and himself drew the line when my goodbye thread was met with 7 pages of people cheering, laughing, and mocking. 7 pages! I was one of the last originals on the boards, maybe the last one. I couldn't take it anymore.
Thanks for not being like them and yelling at a newb that there was a previous thread. |

Technically
Technically, that thread is on, "what ACOUSTIC guitar do you use?". And since yours is entitled, "Your Guitar(s)" I suppose it really wouldn't be inappropriate to have this as a thread. Although closely related, still technically different.
Anyway - I have a Peavey Axcelerator (Stained Blue w/ pearl pickguard) and a Takamine G Series EG-15C. Neither was too expensive, and the Peavey is only mediocre, but the Takamine sounds great for the $265.00 (used) I paid. To me it sounds comparable to Takamines in in the $500 - $800 range. I love it. Last edited by purebloom; 05-16-2005 at 07:33 PM. |

I think the lower line taks are really good for their price. My beginner fender dreadnaught cost me 500, and I have played cheaper Taks, and wished I'd started on those.

I only have guitars because I get them for free from my work.
I've got Squier Affinity Strat, Fender Stratacoustic, Emily the Strange (ephiphone SG style) Epiphone LP-100 (nothing Impressive) I want an acoustic.. My brother plays professionally, so I really ought to get more lessons from him, I've only had one and only know a few chords
