Horrendous album cover, let's hope it's not a keeper.

I've been out of the loop a bit with all things Rouse; when exactly is the Country Mouse due?

And don't forget Ryan's Easy Tiger in early June.

Alrighty, I'll check in on the website from time to time. A LOT of great releases/my favourite artists this year, hard to keep up. No idea what to expect from Mouse, though. More sophisticated pop, I suppose. Hope lady Paz joins him again, such a sweet voice she has.

What's up with your avatar, Cil? The Bride and Willow fusion?

Subtítulo is yer perfect patio-with-cool-beverage album.

Los eyeboogeros is always the first in line! Always.

Cille, how long has SUBTÍTULO been out for now? Ever since then I have been -unsuccessfully it seems- correcting you because you keep misspelling the album's title. "Here's my point, Dude: there's no f*cking reason..." I can forgive you not being arsed to include the fancy looking dot above the I, but I see no reason why the U is always O when you write it.

And I am totally ignoring dramaking's version of the title!

SUBTÍTULO

And now onto the less important stuff: drama, check out Josh's 1972 album. It's his bestest, you can't possibly misspell the title, and Cille will agree too.

Oh no goddammit how could I misspell !!??!!

I am unworthy..

Am listening to the new album now, "City city city city... MOUSE", and it does sound like another Josh Rouse Album. Very laid back, neat tunes, all that, and A LITTLE boring...

Yes 1973 is a goodie album

Yep, this is mondo laid back and Josh-like, and the more I listen to it the more I dig it. Italian Dry Ice...mmmm, yum. Definitely better than Subtítulo, much tighter and not as cutesy. Still, 1972 and Nashville are superior albums [*note to dramaking*].

There's a new Josh Rouse album out, El Turista.

In the vein of his last two studio albums, I'd say. Sophisticated pop music. Seriously laidback (there's that word again). Not a bad thing, but it does get a bit drowsy after a few listens (I did however listen to it four or five times back-to-back). Some nice string arrangements too, at times almost movie score like. Oh yeah, his Spanish is good enough to sing in it!

The album cover is 'meh'.
