December What are you listening to
Now that it's December I've broken out Maybe this Christmas - not sure which volume it is, it's the one with the Barenaked Ladies & Sarah Mclaughlin doing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - love it!

I'm not feeling very well at the moment. Goddamn it, just came back from uni and felt bad for no apparent reason and when I was sitting down in the train, there were these little kiddie basterds who wanted to peeve people and they pissed me off and insulted me in front of the public, because I managed to say "F.uck you" to one of them who wanted to stress me out. Thank god I didn't get into a stupid fight. Little tw.ats. Perfect day, eh?

This is a great song but very, very funny. Look at the guy playing the banjo at 3:34 in this clip when he really gets in to it. Like my friend said, How could you ever play the banjo and not do like that.

Yeah sorry man. I have a tendency to get a bit too obsessed with stuff, which I guess this forum in a way confirms.
Just to show that I sometimes listen to other stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs8H41Q0-QM

^ That song still gives me the chills. She still has it. Thanks for posting!
I remember seeing her sing this in 1988 or 89. Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke (from The Smiths) were backing her. It was so fantastic. I was a Smiths fanatic at the time, so it was especially brilliant. I still love her. Last edited by Joyful; 12-08-2009 at 02:28 PM. |

I'm a big Sinead fan, pity I never caught her live... People seems to only remember Nothing Compares 2 U, but she has lots of amazing original songs...
This is Troy at Pinkpop'90, best performance EVER!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeIHZvZTJTg and of my faves, The Last Day of Our Aquaitance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2Ym5...eature=related
