What's up? I heard a one or two songs on NPR one night, driving home in the dark in the snow. Alone. I was immediatley hooked. I just recently bought 0 and I couldn't listen to it without tearing up. Amazing, as I am a 43 year old African-American man who hasn't cried in more than 10 years! Well of course I was thinking about a women--I feel for her but she doesn't feel for me so I had to end I friendship. 'Delicate' set me up and 'The Blowers Daughter' did it. 'Cannonball' just finished me off. I am stunned by how good these songs are--especially the first 4. Raw and delicate at the same time... I'm a writer and a Dave Matthews fan. Anybody else out there? greetings!(i joined the community later than you did, so i don't think welcome is appropriate) i've always wanted to be a writer (i'm an english major currently) and i'm impressed by people who have the discipline. also, i saw dave matthews in concert about 1 year ago, and now when i hear his music on the dmx at work, i ignore all else. he is certainly the man. -samuelle |
