okay maybe it's just me but i'm excited because kate is releasing a new album for the first time in 12 years on november the 7th... anyone else a fan?

i love her debut album "the kick inside" and "the dreaming" also ranks right up there as one of my favorites of all time... she was only 17 years old when she was discovered by david gilmour of pink floyd and she has always impressed me with her originality and songwriting style and i love her voice! i've sampled a few tracks of the new album and i really like what i've heard... mellow/kind of ambient in parts and then almost tribal/chanting in others...

she is cool! i've already heard some songs of her new album and they were really good!

she always seemed a bit too weird for me but my taste has changed so will give the new one a listen soon

i like weird

(but unique is a better word for her i think)

she's kind of like damien in that she shuns fame and publicity (she's only toured once for like a month in her whole career) and people spread wild rumours about her that always turn out not to be true...
