RYAN MOURNS LOSS OF 'FRIENDS'
(nme.com) RYAN ADAMS has temporally closed his website as a mark of respect for the death of six 'FRIENDS'. Following the airing of the last ever programme of the hit American show in the US last night (May 6), Adams has dedicated the site's brief closure to Joey, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Monica and Phoebe. The site will be "closed until further notice". Am 'crushed' myself, being a huge Friends fan/geek. So I'll wait for you... and I'll burn Will I ever see your sweet return, Oh, will I ever learn? It's never over... OK, it's not THAT bad, but I'm sad nevertheless. It's like an end of an era. |

Yeah, and he's never given credit for being such a sweet guy. Haven't seen the last season yet myself, can hardly wait. But then it's really over.

"the bar is a beautifull place" is one of my favourite ryan adams numbers, heartbreaker's his best album though not a bad song there |

Well, it's probably my least fav Adams album. It's basically him goofing around, having fun and paying tribute to old school rock & roll. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the whole album was a compromiseso his STOOPID record label would release the album heactually wanted to bring out in the first place; Love Is Hell. That became two separate EPs instead, released last fall, but know Lost Highway (the record label, not the Lynch movie ) have finally come to their senses (or have they?) and have released LIH again (!), only this time as a full length album. The way it should've been from the beginning. Stupid, golddigging retards! End of rant |

yeah my least fave album was rock and roll too, it seems more like a tribute album with ryan to impressions of various people rather than his own stuff.
I got love is hell part 1 but not part 2, glad they're releasing it as a full album, it's all excellant but i don't know whether to buy the whoile thing now or just part 2 if i can find it. A lot of the whiskeytown stuff is really cool too especially pneumonia and faithless street. |

i have this strange on/off love story going on with 'f**k the universe'. so beautifully trashy and angry, and then at the same time... arrgh, bit annoying. i love that it's not trying to please the listener in ANY way. f**k it all...

Not sure, but I don't think so. I believe they've already recorded the ''X years ahead'' episode which will be shown few years from now.
