i found this website that tracks celebrity's charitable work, and damien is one of the top celebs in their "peace" category of causes. very cool!

he's also big on human rights, poverty, health, the environment, veteran and service member support and water.. what water benefit did he do? i can't remember..

they should add children for his work with warchild, and animals too because he donated to the donkey sanctuary in ireland.

i don´t think he calls himself "celebrity", lol... and, honestly, i don´t think he likes this idea.

he may not call himself that or think of himself like that, but he is a celebrity. he's known around the world, and celebrities have a lot of power to bring attention to worthy causes..

i think the purpose of the site is to show people their favorite actors, musicians, etc. to inspire them to support the charities their heroes support. or for people who organize fundraising and awareness for particular charities or non-profits (like me) a way to learn who supports their type of cause, and maybe how to contact them to get them involved.
