I was very impressed by Damien's show in Brussels last friday and it seemed i wasn't the only one to be impressed (the show was sold out, damien played for over two hours - i missed my bus home hehehe - , the crowd was really excited and loved every minute of it.) There's a review of his gig on this website: www.cuttingedge.be , it's still in dutch. But in the near future there would appear an english version as well - especially for the irish, english, american (in short: englishspeaking) Damien-fans. |

Read the review, it seems like the complete opposite to the Utrecht gig we saw.. Am jealous because we didn't get any Cheers Darlin or talking to the crowd |

Awww, don't be jealous. Every gig is different. I never heard Cheers Darlin' yet either. I'm sure you'll see him again

I saw the weirdest Damo-gig so far (my third and a half), the utrecht gig was very good, but so dead-serious, very weird (see the utrecht thread for more...) |

I stood in the front row, sort of in the middle, almost in front of Damien.

We were somewhere at the top of the stairs, with a great view and perfect sound. Only downpoint was that we were infront of an invisible door - where we put all our jackets (and some cd's and vinyl) during the show people from the pa were constantly coming and going through that door, stepping over our jackets and my vinyl... but it survived!
