Mario Rosenstock is a comedy act who is absolutely huge in Ireland, he's better known as Gift Grub.

Just noticed the Cake Sale are #3!!! Wow!!!! Chart rules in Ireland must be different from the UK, since in the UK it would count for the Compilation Charts not for the 'Regular' Albums charts!!

heard about Gift Grub climbing to No 1 today too.
Thought Damien would be #1 for another while.

Week 3 in the Irish charts... Damien is down to 8, but hard week with 4 big new releases: Westlife, U2, Beatles & Oasis. Apparently, Westlife sold buckets of CDs, more than U2 + Beatles combined, best sales since U2's How to dismantle an atomic bomb... Oasis was released later (Mon) than the rest (Fri) which explains the lower position...
01 E Westlife - Love Album 02 E U2 - U218 03 E Beatles - Love 04 01 Mario Rosenstock - Gift Grub 7 05 E Oasis - Stop The Clocks 06 03 George Michael - Twenty Five 07 E Toll Trolls 2 - Toll Trolls 08 02 Damien Rice - 9 09 E Garth Brooks - Limited Series 10 05 Justin Timberlake - Futuresex / Lovesounds Good news is that in singles 9 Crimes is up to number 20!! 01 03 Akon ft Eminem - Smack That 02 12 Take That - Patience 03 01 Westlife - The Rose .... 20 34 Damien Rice - 9 Crimes |

And the video for '9 Crimes' is airing tonight!! That should help the single, which should help the album.
