Hello all,

I've been coming to this site for over a year now and finally decided to join the forum. So far I'm liking it a lot! I just got the new album, '9', yesterday and I have listened to it in full no less than 4 times. I can't compare it to 'O', which has been a favourite since the first listen many moons ago. But I do know that both these albums will be in my stereo for a long time to come. How do they do it?!

Anyway, I look forward to being a part of this forum and reading your posts. Keep listening to Damien Rice! It's good for you.

welcome blurry! i like the elephant pic! maybe after the Oz tour we can expect a 'kangaroo' song... gosh that's such a clichéd response... hope you'll stick around the forum, the more stars the better, even blurry ones

Nice effort, Colbarr. I think this one's my favourite "Awright big chap, howz it hanging, come oan in oot the cald n plank yer arse doon in the auld igloo." Haha.

Wheels, I would love to be able to go to one of the Aussie shows next year. I don't know if it'll be possible but fingers crossed.

Ever since I saw the elephant drawing in the O album booklet I've always associated elephants to Damien Rice. And now he's also got a song titled that! Glad you like it.

i love your elephant too! though i loved elephants long before damien, so actually i associate damien moreso with them which makes me like damien even more ;p i was very pleased when he chose that name for the song title instead of BD pt.2 (i never really cared for that one..)

oh i hope you get to go to one of the shows there blurrystars! this is shaping up into an actual world tour and it would be a shame if you missed it! we had a little aussie invasion here the last time he toured there but that was awhile ago..
