excuse me for my ignorance but i only actually heard this guy singing the other day (in a funky jewellery shop in Dingle - i just had to ask the shop assistant who it was or i'd be kickin myself afterwords!) even though i'd heard of him by name and my bro goes on bout him but doesnt have any of his music. I know there are a few fans out there -i'm just wondering what his album's called and is it worth getting..?!! i really shoulda checked him out yonks ago... but didnt..-slap on the wrist for eimear!

i saw him last night, he was introducing bands in the lobby, he's a legend, i love him!! his album's called 'hey dreamer', you should be able to get it in most music shops, try irishy ones if you've no luck in the big 3(virgin, hmv, golden discs..). it doesn't feature his best song though....orca, orca, killer whale, you have to experience that one live! www.johnspillane.ie to hear someother tracks and watch a music video etc.

or you can try http://www.ossian.ie/ for it online..........road records have it as well I'm sure but I'm pretty positive that HMV and the others will have it as it entered the charts at number 5 I think........hopefully going to see him in the lobby tomorrow night, tickets providing...and sure will he be brilliant or what

thanks you two! my dad walked in and caught me watchin that Daniel O'Donnell programme-the shame!- and was wondering what the hell i was doing, lol, and when i explained he said- 'oh him- me and ur brother saw him in Enniskillen(my local town) last year some time' ----talk about feckin typical!!! and talk about ragin-i was soooo pissed off, especially since no-one ever comes to Fermanagh...
