allright.... I've had this song stuck in my head for the past 2 or 3 days ! ... soo i've decided to stop fighting it and just listen to it a loooot and find out stuff about it ... since i don't know anything about it!
 anyways... i guess it's called "You shouldn't be here" ... right?? where did Damien Play it? I don't really know what to think about it yet... it sounds like a work in progress.. its still raw i guess.. but it's got potential !! omg i have this version in a different folder becaue it wasn't loud enough.. i never really listened to it too close.. but damn now that i have.. it's amazingg!! lol.. i so agree with u...
but about the meaning of the song; i'll generally take a guess what the song is actually about, but it's not super important to me, but always nice to know... any damo story i'd looove to hear.. but it could take away a little bit of that love for that song if it's not what u thought it ment... so i normally keep these kinds of things to myself.. :P i like to have my own thoughts of how it relates to me and what it could actually mean... :P

Never played again... Just that one time in Chicago last Dec...
I remember we didn't agree much on the lyrics, still not sure if it's paper wool or paper wood. Check it!! |

if i had to guess i'd say wood.. but it's very hard to tell...

Maria, I don't hear 'wall', for me it's either wood or wool... but maybe we need some Irish accent expert
'Wood' rhymes better with 'Good', but not sure if 'Paper wood' exists eh???I was thinking that maybe someone can improve the mp3 quality and make it sound stronger, I know there are tools out there to do so... |

I'd actually already edited it a bit before, I found a lot of new songs through a 4 share folder recently and boosted the volume of them and stuff back then. I can't remember how much I'd done to this originally but i've done a bit more and made it louder and I think quite a bit clearer aswell.
If anyone wants it send me a private message and if they have a sharing folder then they are welcome to. For anyone that might care what I did to it, I cut off the beggining and end applause because it was too loud and I couldn't find a better way of sorting it so it fades in and fades out. Then tried compression and expansion but I don't understand either enough to make them sound nice and with both it sounded quite strange. Instead I removed the bass and altered the dynamics so the loud section wasn't quite so loud and it was more even and then boosted it. If anyone can think of a better way then please do. I did this all by experimentation. P.S. I would say it was "wool" not "wood" because i can't hear a "d" at all but I'm not completely sure, he seems to give up on the word a bit.

I love that song. Especially the drums!!! And I think it's amazing how "perfect" this song already seems to be even though it's obviously not finished yet.
I'd vote for paper wood, btw. Just by the sound of the vowel before the inaudible last consonant.

Managed to get an improved version of You Shouldn't Be Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All credit to Mr Benn who kindly send it to me along a bunch of other goodies including improved versions of Slow, Is that it my friend, Play dead and What this night is for (both piano & guitar) version. All updated in my 4shared thingy.

Hmm. Unrestrained worship sounds like the kind of thing that can make people big headed but I do like the knighthood idea...

I was already loud so I compressed it a bit, there's bits of it that still aren't too clear what he's saying though. I really love it though especially the backing vocals near the end. When was it actually recorded, I take it it comes from the better days, before the leaving of Lisa?
