Gig was great! It probably wasn't as good as when I saw him in Birmingham but it was still an above average gig from an amazing performer. I would have liked him to talk a bit more like he did when I saw him before but to be fair, everytime he went to speak he was shouted down by some people in the audience. But the conversation about the guitar's shape was funny! I met him aswell afterwards and got a photo! |

i agree with joe. all that bullsh*t about last nights gig being dodgy is annoying. it was a deadly gig. i was glad he played tongue, wooden horse , face and his version of eve was class. every gig shouldnt be full of stories every 5 minutes. with the frames these days they go over the top on the stories and i gets boring cos you know your gonna get loads during songs. there was a bit of heckling that was annoying last night but it was all good humoured and probably just cos of drunken antics anyway. i honestly thought last nights gig wouldve got a quality review by everyone. people are startin to complain because every gig wasnt the most amazing thing theyve ever heard. the songs are bound to lose a bit of impact if you've already seen him live loads of times but damo's performance was just as perfect as usual. wasnt a big fan of the guggenheims but the dancer mad heads were cool. i was in the front row so got a good look at the hot girl dancer but they were good. wished i was stoned for that part though.... |

It was absolutely amazing I thought! I thought he talked just the right amount cos we were all there to hear the music and that's what we got! I wasn't too mad on the dancer's Im afraid, soz Digsy!!I was in front row too!"Never" was great but did anyone notice a similarity with the start of that and the start of "coldwater"?? The end was classic when he knelt down on stage next to the candles and everyone just shutted up and listened and then hummed along at the chorus, it was just fantastic! There was a sign up saying the gig was being recorded, anyone know if theres a chance that it could be released?? Anyway I want to give the gig a big thumbs up, oooh especially when they sang "I remember" that was so capitivating!! Edited by: s_mcgui

I'm having panic attacks now 'cos I can't remember what he looked like when we were talking to him I was so excited. |

Apparently the last Paris show was tremendous - he hung around for ages afterwards signing stuff and talking to people, and performed a fantastic gig too!

A-Team??????
Now normally I wouldn't say such things because I'd worry that it makes me sound like a loser who at 23 still fancies the prettiest girl in school (and I'm not, no really) but f**kit. A-Team, I think I just fell in love. If it were a Transformers shirt I definately would, but only if it were a decepticons one.

i just bought a shirt from the merchandise bit and went for a wander cos i wanted to find him or anyone from the band - got to the stage door, all locked up so i headed back towards the merch. area. I loooked back round towards the stage door bit a few minutes later and i saw a woman kissing someone - so i went over and he was there. Didn't mind the photograph, few others took one! he was really nice, and even handled a really drunk woman trying to take him away by just joking with her and laughin! |
