Anywhooo... I guess you'd like a bit more info..

Highlight for me was Ben Harper. He was everything I hoped for and more! Awesome charisma, great atmosphere, amazing band... everything was just perfect!!![img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

Other great bands I saw: Muse RAWKED!!! So did Placebo, Pixies and The Darkness! I was up front during Pixies and it was so crowded I literally couldn't raise my arms to clap!

Also good: Metallica, Dropkick Murphys, Lenny Kravitz, PJ Harvey (she's so f**king cool!)..

Bad: Wu Tang Clan were pathetic, Black Eyed Peas were terrible and Lamb was okay, but the sound was horrible.

God, I love Ben Harper!!! I can change the world with my own two hands!![img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

No, he survived, thank goodness. The story on the news was that he'd complained about the noise, and then some people dragged him into a van and eitherslit his throat or stabbed him in the throat (different channels said different things). Then apparently his friends managed to drag him out of the van and he was rushed to hospital.

Yeah, I just don't get it at all. Especially at a festival which is meant to be a place for people to come together and enjoy the music. It's just sick isn't it?

and yeh a festival is supposed to be a happy thing, but then it just shouldn't happen at all, what gives someone the right to hurt someone just cos they feel like it...

but let's not go into that cos no-one will ever be able to work it out will they and it's just such a difficult thing to express how you feel about it!
